Agricultural workers and teams from farming enterprises in the Brest Region have received state awards and presidential commendations. The relevant decree and order were signed by Aliaksandr Lukashenka, his press service reported.
The staff of Sviataya Volia OJSC in the Ivatsevichy district was awarded the Order of Labor Glory. Tractor operator Anatol Tamchuk of Astramechava OJSC in the Brest district received the Order of Honor.
The Medal for Labor Merit was awarded to driver Hennadz Hrusheuski of Pachapava OJSC in the Pinsk district, director Yauhen Shimchuk of Vinets OJSC in the Biaroza district, as well as tractor operators Aliaksandr Misiuk of Rahoznianski OJSC in the Zhabinka district and Mikhail Patsukevich of the Fiodarski agricultural production cooperative in the Stolin district.
The title of Honored Worker of Agriculture was awarded to Vasil Sevastsianchyk, director of Velikaselskaye Agro OJSC in the Pruzhany district.
Lukashenka’s commendation was awarded to the staff of Savushkin-Luch agricultural enterprise, as well as to a number of employees. They include tractor operators Valery Dzemidchyk of the Vazniasenski farm in the Zhabinka district and Vasil Karchomny of Sviataya Volia OJSC in the Ivatsevichy district, as well as driver Ihar Ramaniuk of Belavezhsky OJSC in the Kamianets district.
Commendations were also awarded to employees who assisted agricultural enterprises during the harvesting campaign. They include a senior instructor and a driver from Fire and Emergency Rescue Unit No. 1 of the Pruzhany District Emergency Situations Department, as well as tractor operator Viachaslau Biruk of the Zhuravlinaye agricultural enterprise. A commendation was also awarded to Uladzimir Dudar, a security guard with the Leninsky Department of the Interior Ministry’s Security Department, who worked as a tractor operator at Astramechava OJSC during the harvesting campaign.
