Bosnian and Herzegovinian Citizen’s Drone Seized at Belarusian Border

Border guards in the Hrodna Region seized an aircraft model and a drone at the Bruzgi checkpoint, Belarus’s State Border Committee reported.

The first incident occurred on October 29, when a Belarusian woman attempted to bring an aircraft model into the country from Poland. Two days later, on October 31, border guards found an unmanned aerial vehicle inside a car belonging to a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the same checkpoint.

The items were seized in both cases. Administrative proceedings have been launched against the individuals under Part 1 of Article 18.38 of the Belarusian Code of Administrative Offences. They face fines of up to 1,350 roubles (30 basic units).
