Belarusian footwear manufacturer Belwest has suffered losses after Ukrainian strikes on Wildberries warehouses in Russia. A large shipment of the company’s shoes was destroyed in the fire.
“You have probably seen the news about the devastating fires at Wildberries warehouses. Unfortunately, this tragedy has affected us as well — a large shipment of our shoes, which we made with great care for you, was destroyed in the fire,” Belwest said on Facebook, without specifying the cause of the “devastating fires.”
“To be honest, the situation is difficult, and we are feeling a bit saddened right now,” the manufacturer said, asking customers for support.
Belwest urged potential customers not to postpone their purchases and to place orders for its footwear now.
