BELPOL has published documents that it says confirm supplies of Belarusian-made products to Russia’s military-industrial complex following Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
After the outbreak of the war, “the regime immediately began not just to offer, or impose military goods of the Russian Federation,” BELPOL said.
The organization published a memorandum on problematic issues in cooperation with Russia, signed by Deputy Industry Minister Kozlov. According to the document, the Belarusian government sought a Russian loan to organize the production of components for 122 mm rocket projectiles at Legmash and 152 mm artillery shells at the Minsk Bearing Plant. The plan envisaged that components for the ammunition would be purchased for at least five years.
Another example of cooperation with Russia involved the BelOMO holding company, although the enterprise was not immediately able to reach agreements on supplying its products.
According to BELPOL, supplies to Russia included MAZ trucks, information display systems produced by ITC Horizont, engine blanks for rocket projectiles manufactured by BAZtube LLC, tanker trucks from the Grodno Mechanical Plant, shell body blanks from the Minsk Bearing Plant, as well as products manufactured by Ekran and the Vitebsk Plant of Electrical Measuring Instruments.
In 2024, supplies of optical-electronic sights and other military-grade optical equipment increased sharply. According to the published documents, a total of 105,161 various sights, rangefinders, monoculars and related products were delivered to Russia.
