BELPOL: Belarusian Company Supplied Equipment for Explosives Production Line to Russian Defence Industry

The former security officers’ initiative BELPOL has published an investigation into the supply by a Belarusian company of equipment that was installed at a Russian defence industry enterprise on a production line handling aluminium powder, TNT and RDX.

The investigation concerns the Belarusian company Elementary Machines LLC, which specialises in the production of packaging equipment, roasting ovens, industrial mills, mixers, palletising robots, unloading systems and other technological machinery for the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

According to BELPOL, through the Russian intermediary Detrelit LLC, the company supplied and installed equipment at the production site of JSC Cheboksary Production Association named after V.I. Chapaev for a line handling aluminium powder, TNT and RDX — key components in explosives used in artillery and rocket munitions.

The Belarusian company supplied the Russian buyer with an unloading system, diaphragm pumps, weighing dispensers and control panels. Installation of the equipment was completed in the summer of last year.

The full investigation is available on the BELPOL website.
