BelNPP Has Generated 60 Billion kWh Of Electricity Since Launch

The Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant has reached 60 billion kWh of electricity generated since the first power unit was connected to the unified energy system on November 3, 2020.

As the Energy Ministry stated, the electricity produced has made it possible to replace about 16 billion cubic metres of natural gas. Each power unit of the plant generates about 28 million kWh per day. The share of nuclear generation in Belarus’s total electricity production is about 40%, the ministry added.
