Тихон Клюкач
Belarusian volunteer and former political prisoner Tsikhan Kliukach was killed in Ukraine on May 9. He would have turned 24 in July.
“Belarusian volunteer Tsikhan Kliukach was killed while carrying out a combat mission on May 9, 2026. The information was received from his fellow servicemen,” Filip Shaurou reported on Facebook.
Kliukach was detained in 2020 for participating in protests. He was charged with aggravated hooliganism and participation in group actions grossly violating public order. During one of the marches, Tsikhan filmed his girlfriend spray-painting the shields of the “Rubezh” system. He was sentenced to one and a half years in prison.
After his release in 2022, he left Belarus and joined the Kastus Kalinouski Regiment. Later, he left the regiment but continued fighting in Ukraine.
