Belarusian Man Tries To Leave Poland In BMW With Altered VIN

Polish border guards detained a 29-year-old Belarusian citizen who attempted to cross the border in a car with an altered VIN code.

The Belarusian was leaving Poland through the Terespol border crossing in a 2013 BMW. During the inspection, border guards noticed that the vehicle’s VIN number had been modified, the Polish Border Guard service reported.

The car, valued at 80,000 zlotys (about $21,700), was seized and handed over to the police for further investigation.
