Belarusian Companies Start the Year With Growth in Net Profit

Belstat has published data on the financial results of organizations for January 2026. Their net profit increased significantly.

The preliminary report by Belstat does not include banks, non-bank financial institutions, insurance companies, budget organizations or organizations without departmental reporting with fewer than 50 employees.

In January, organizations’ revenue increased by 3.6% to 42.49 billion rubles.

The cost of goods sold rose by 2.3% to 35.07 billion rubles.

Net profit increased by 29% to 1.74 billion rubles.

The return on sales reached 6.4%, which is 0.7 percentage points higher than in January 2025.

In January, 2,733 organizations were loss-making, which is 27.4% more than in January 2025.

Accounts receivable as of February 1 amounted to 100.6 billion rubles, decreasing by 4.8% over the month. Accounts payable fell by 6.4% to 115.95 billion rubles. Debt on loans and borrowings increased by 0.5% in January to 142.78 billion rubles.
