A Belarusian citizen is among those reported missing following flooding in Nepal. The information was published by Nepal’s Tourism Board.
The Embassy of Belarus in India has confirmed the information.
“The Embassy of Belarus in India has received information that a Belarusian citizen is among the missing group of tourists,” the embassy said, adding that details are being clarified.
According to the latest data, at least 350 people have died in Nepal. More than 1,300 people are reported missing in Nepal and China, including about 700 foreigners.
Devastating flooding caused by a landslide occurred on Aug. 26 on the border between Nepal and Tibet (China).
