Belarusian CEC Sends Observers to Thailand

Belarusian observers have traveled to Thailand, where elections and a referendum will be held on February 8.

According to the Central Election Commission, the voting will be observed by Central Election Commission member Andrei Hurzhyi and Volha Demka from the Brest Regional Executive Committee.

On February 8, voters are to elect 500 members of the House of Representatives. In addition, a referendum will be held on amending the Constitution. Citizens will be asked whether Thailand needs a new Basic Law. A positive answer will launch the constitutional reform process.
