A Belarusian delegation led by First Deputy Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus Aleh Mishchanka has arrived in Venezuela. The third meeting of the Working Group on Military-Technical Cooperation between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Belarus was held in Caracas.
The sides discussed current issues and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the military-technical field and outlined concrete steps to further strengthen it.
Following the meeting, Aleh Mishchanka and Venezuela’s Deputy Minister of Defence for Planning and Defence Development Enri David Rodriguez Martinez signed a final protocol “which confirmed the agreements reached and new vectors of joint work,” the press service of the State Military-Industrial Committee said.
Earlier, the delegation visited Cuba, where the 11th meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Cuban Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation took place.
