An official ceremony for the transfer of Belarusian humanitarian aid to Kenya took place in Nairobi, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service reported. The event was attended by Belarus’s ambassador to Kenya Dzmitry Krasouski and Kenya’s Deputy Minister of Public Service Ismail Malim Madei.
The humanitarian shipment, with a total weight of 7.5 tonnes and a value of more than 500,000 Belarusian rubles, was sent on the instructions of Aliaksandr Lukashenka and the Belarusian government to assist people affected by floods. The cargo includes clothing and footwear for children and adults, as well as frame tents.
