Belarus’s State Authority for Military Industry and relevant agencies in Chad have signed a memorandum of understanding. The document was signed during a working visit to Chad by Dzmitry Pantus, chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry.
“The visit and the signed document demonstrate a transition from episodic contacts to systematic, predictable, and long-term strategic partnership,” the State Authority for Military Industry’s press service said.
The Belarusian delegation held talks with Chad’s Minister for National Defense, Veterans and War Victims, General Issaka Malloua Djamouss, commanders of branches and commands of the armed forces, senior officials of the security bloc, as well as representatives of structural units of the defense ministry. The sides discussed Chad’s current needs as well as modern challenges and threats in the region. The Belarusian delegation presented the capabilities of the military-industrial complex in terms of modernization and support for security agencies, personnel training, and technology transfer.
