Belarus Delivers Humanitarian Aid to Cuba

Belarus has delivered humanitarian aid to the Children’s Clinical Hospital and the William Soler Pediatric Cardiology Center in Cuba. The handover ceremony took place on November 5, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reported.

Belarusian Ambassador to Cuba Vitali Barchuk attended the event. Cuba was represented at the ceremony by First Deputy Health Minister Tania Margarita Cruz Hernández and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment and Co-Chair of the Belarusian-Cuban Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation Carlos Luis Jorge Méndez.

Cuban representatives thanked Belarus for the humanitarian aid, describing it as “an important and timely gesture of solidarity.”

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry did not disclose the composition or volume of the aid delivered.
