Belarus Becomes Most Affordable Foreign Destination for Russians During May Holidays

Belarus topped the ranking of the most affordable foreign destinations for Russian tourists during the May holidays in 2026. These figures come from a Yandex Travel study cited by TASS.

According to the data, the combined average cost of flights and accommodation in Belarus will amount to 23,500 rubles, less than in any other foreign country in the ranking. Uzbekistan came second with 24,400 rubles, followed by Kazakhstan with 28,700 rubles. More expensive destinations included Kyrgyzstan with 41,400 rubles, Turkey with 42,800 rubles and China with 48,400 rubles.

Among Russian destinations, the lowest average cost of accommodation and travel during the May holidays was in Bashkortostan at 15,400 rubles, Arkhangelsk Region at 15,600 rubles and Saratov Region at 16,300 rubles.
