Belarus’s ambassador to Venezuela Dzmitry Dziaravinski met with Venezuela’s sectoral vice president for planning and planning minister Ricardo José Menéndez Prieto.
The meeting was also attended by Venezuela’s minister of industry and national trade Luis Antonio Villegas Ramírez, his deputy José Javier Hernández Castillo, and the president of the Venezuelan automotive corporation Corsoauto Mileydi Andreina Bastidas Montilla.
The sides discussed Belarusian-Venezuelan industrial cooperation, with particular attention to joint projects for assembling automotive, tractor and heavy vehicles at joint venture sites in Barinas state. An agreement was reached to hold a series of expert-level and technical meetings in the near future to strengthen cooperative ties, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said.
