The crowdfunding platform Gronka is marking two years since its launch. To mark the occasion, the team summed up its work and appealed to the community for support to continue developing the project.
According to the team, more than €85,000 has been raised through the platform over the past two years to support Belarusian projects. During that time, 33 crowdfunding campaigns were successfully completed, while the number of people who backed the initiatives exceeded 1,400.
According to the platform’s creators, there were periods when the team had to work “purely on enthusiasm”, endure a turbulent period and even temporarily put the project on hold.
The initiative’s authors thanked everyone who supported the platform during that time, giving special recognition to the Belarusian Patrons Club.
“We came back and continue our work because we believe in Belarusian creativity,” they said.
To mark its anniversary, Gronka has launched a fundraising campaign to support the platform’s future operations. Supporters are invited to contribute through a monthly subscription of €5, €10, €15 or €20, a one-time donation, or an additional 10% contribution when funding projects through the platform.

Gronka was launched in July 2024 to support Belarusian projects and initiatives. The platform has been designated an “extremist formation” in Belarus.
