The State Authority for Military Industry reported this following a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on military-technical cooperation held in Kazan on October 20–22.
The Belarusian delegation was headed by State Authority for Military Industry Chairman Dzmitry Pantus, while the Russian delegation was led by Dmitry Shugaev, Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation.
“The participants reviewed the results of their joint work, assessed the implementation of previously reached agreements, and developed common approaches to addressing specific tasks. The talks focused primarily on further deepening integration and developing joint projects in the defense industry,” the committee said.
Following the meeting, a protocol was signed formalizing the decisions reached on:
- expanding cooperation between defense industry enterprises in Belarus and Russia;
- coordinating positions on key areas of bilateral cooperation;
- mechanisms for monitoring the implementation of agreements reached.
