Belarus and Kyrgyzstan Sign 12 Agreements and Memorandums

Belarus and Kyrgyzstan have signed an agreement on the mutual recognition and exchange of national driving licences. The document was signed in Bishkek by Prime Ministers Aliaksandr Turchyn and Adylbek Kasymaliev.

According to the Belarusian government’s press service, 11 additional documents were signed during Turchyn’s visit:

  1. An agreement between the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in the social and labour sphere;
  2. A memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in seed production;
  3. The protocol of a meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Kyrgyz Subcommission on Cooperation in Agriculture and Food;
  4. An agreement between the Belarusian State Institute for Standardisation and Certification (BelGISS) and the Centre for Standardisation and Metrology under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstandart) on cooperation in standardisation, conformity assessment and information exchange;
  5. A memorandum of intent and mutually beneficial cooperation in postal services and e-commerce between Belposhta and Kyrgyz Pochtasy;
  6. An agreement between the Vitsyebsk Regional Executive Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Issyk-Kul Region on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian fields;
  7. A cooperation agreement between the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War and the M.V. Frunze Memorial House Museum;
  8. A cooperation agreement between the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus and the G. Aitiev Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts;
  9. A memorandum of cooperation between the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society and the T. Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic;
  10. A memorandum of understanding between A.S. Pushkin Brest State University and Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University;
  11. An agreement on the establishment of a Business Council.
