Baiko Brothers Increase Control Over Turov Dairy Plant

Businessmen Dzmitry Baiko and Valiantsin Baiko have increased their control over Turov Dairy Plant.

According to information published on the Unified Portal of Financial Market Information, on June 1, Freshcheese LLC sold 6,994 shares in Turov Dairy Plant OJSC on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, representing 23.44% of the company’s charter capital.

The buyers were Dzmitry and Valiantsin Baiko, as well as their Conte Spa partner Richard Scherel.

As a result of the transactions, Dzmitry Baiko obtained direct and indirect control over 81.09% of the company’s shares. His brother directly and indirectly controls 57.3%, while Richard Scherel controls 8.66%.

In February this year, the Economic Court of Minsk declared Freshcheese bankrupt and opened liquidation proceedings. Conte Spa JV LLC had applied to the Minsk court seeking to have Freshcheese LLC declared bankrupt.
