A large-scale attack has begun on the voting platform for the Coordination Council elections. The service is currently unavailable.
“Today, May 11, at 22:00 Minsk time, the elections started, and what we are witnessing is an unprecedented DDoS attack on the voting platform, due to which it is currently unavailable. We are now testing its resilience as well, and please follow our updates. I will return shortly to report on how the protection systems worked and how our tests performed under these conditions. At the moment, the platform is inaccessible for voting, but I hope to return to you soon with good news. Long live Belarus!” said the head of the Election Commission for the Coordination Council elections, Aliena Prykhodzka.
The elections to the fourth composition of the Coordination Council were supposed to begin at 22:00 Minsk time. The Coordination Council published instructions for voting.
