The format of the examination for individuals entering the state civil service for the first time has been changed in Belarus. The relevant decree was signed on February 19 by Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
Applicants for civil service positions will take a unified test developed by the Academy of Public Administration under the president. The testing will assess knowledge of the Constitution of Belarus and other legislative acts, familiarity with which is required for all categories of state civil servants.
“Conducting the examination in this manner will make it possible to eliminate subjectivity and patronage in кадровая work, as well as to raise requirements for individuals entering the state civil service,” Lukashenka’s press service said.
A list of questions and a demonstration version of the test tasks for free trial testing will be published on the website of the Academy of Public Administration.
