Antimonopoly Ministry Sets Monthly Allowable Price Growth for 2026

The Belarusian Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) has set indicators for the monthly allowable growth in prices. Over the year, prices must not rise by more than 7%.

MART Resolution No. 84 of December 30 was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and enters into force upon its official publication.

The allowable price growth indicator in 2026 compared with December 2025 is set at:

  • January — 100.7%
  • February — 102%
  • March — 102.5%
  • April — 103.1%
  • May — 103.4%
  • June — 103.8%
  • July — 104%
  • August — 104.2%
  • September — 104.9%
  • October — 105.5%
  • November — 106.2%
  • December — 107%.

As previously explained by MART, the ministry has the right to issue orders to state bodies to cancel decisions approving producer prices if the parameters for consumer price index growth are not met. To implement these powers, a resolution on monthly allowable price growth indicators has been adopted for the second year in a row. MART will rely on these indicators when deciding whether to issue or refrain from issuing orders to cancel price approvals by state bodies and organizations.
