Annual Inflation in Belarus Reaches 6.8%

Annual inflation in Belarus amounted to 6.8%. The figures were published today by Belstat. According to the 2025 socio-economic development forecast, inflation was not expected to exceed 5%.

According to Belstat, monthly inflation in December reached 0.3%, which is 0.1 percentage points lower than in November. The annual inflation rate slowed toward the end of 2025. In November, annual inflation was 7%.

Core inflation, excluding seasonal and regulated goods and services, amounted to 0.4% in December and 7.3% for the year.

In December, food prices rose by 0.4%, non-food goods by 0.2%, and services by 0.3%.

Over the year, food prices increased by 9%, non-food goods by 0.3%, and services by 8%.

The inflation target for 2026 has been set at no more than 7%.
