Alcohol Sales to Be Banned in Homiel During Last Bell and Graduation Celebrations

The Homiel City Executive Committee has restricted alcohol sales during last bell ceremonies and graduation celebrations. Resolution No. 369 of May 12 was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.

Alcohol sales will be banned in Homiel:

• from 8 a.m. on May 23 until 8 a.m. on May 24,
• from 8 a.m. on June 12 until 8 a.m. on June 13.

The restriction does not apply to alcohol sold by the glass in catering establishments or to sales for funeral rites, weddings and anniversary celebrations.
