Ryzhankou Exchanges Views on Security Issues with Myanmar’s Foreign Minister

Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhankou met on November 4 with Myanmar’s Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, U Tin Maung Swe, who arrived in Minsk to attend the 4th Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.

The sides discussed the preliminary outcomes of the conference and exchanged views on a number of global and regional security issues.

“We reviewed current issues on the Belarusian-Myanmar agenda, with a focus on implementing the agreements reached. We identified ways to step up efforts to implement joint projects in trade and the economy,” a press release from Belarus’s Foreign Ministry said.
