A 33-year-old man suspected of killing three people has been detained in Stolin District. The bodies of a 64-year-old woman and her sons, aged 37 and 40, bearing signs of violent death, were found in a house in the village of Alhomel in the morning.

According to the Interior Ministry reported, the suspect had previously been convicted of killing a fellow villager of the victims. After the crime, he hid in the house of an acquaintance in the same village. Criminal investigation officers tracked him down and detained him shortly after the killings.

It is known that on the day of the killings, the man had been drinking alcohol with the victims. During the gathering, a conflict broke out between them, during which the guest grabbed a knife and killed the two brothers first, followed by their mother. He then staged a scene of disorder in the house, placed the bodies next to each other and fled.

An investigative team is working at the scene.
