A fire broke out at a Starlink ground station in Poland on Wednesday evening. This was reported by RMF FM.

Late on Wednesday evening, the owner of the property where elements of the communications infrastructure are located called the emergency number. He reported that the antennas had caught fire. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze. According to preliminary information, a distribution board and a generator were damaged.

Police were present at the scene. The Internal Security Agency was also notified.

According to the radio station, the incident may have been arson.

The Wola Krobowska station, as well as a similar facility near Kaunas, Lithuania, supports Starlink satellite internet services across a significant part of Central and Eastern Europe.
