Ryzhankou Heads To New York For UN General Assembly

Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhankou has traveled to New York to take part in high-level events of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

As the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service said, he will address a General Assembly session, participate in thematic events and hold “dozens of bilateral meetings,” including with UN officials.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry chief also plans to take part in the launch of negotiations on the draft Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century and give a “full-format interview to a news agency.”

Meanwhile, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya will also be in New York during the high-level week of the UN General Assembly. Her program includes meetings with international partners and an event on Belarus involving representatives of other countries.
