A fatal traffic accident occurred today at about 5:00 a.m. on the N-9388 road near the village of Dukouka. A 37-year-old resident of Minsk lost control of his motorcycle, skidded, and drove into a ditch, where he crashed into a tree. The driver died at the scene, while the passenger in the sidecar was not injured. According to preliminary information from the Investigative Committee, the motorcyclist had consumed alcohol the previous day.
An investigative task force worked at the scene, conducting an inspection, questioning witnesses, and ordering forensic examinations. The circumstances of the accident are being established by the Pukhavichy District Department of the Investigative Committee.
