An agreement on visa-free travel for citizens of Belarus and North Korea will be signed in the near future. Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhankou announced this on August 23 during the evening broadcast of the Belarus 1 TV channel.
“The agreement is already ready. Only technical details remain. We will sign it in the very near future,” he said.
“I had a meeting with the North Korean foreign minister. We discussed the entire range of bilateral relations and, among other things, agreed on upcoming contacts between our foreign ministries and on signing a number of agreements, including this important agreement on visa-free travel for our citizens,” Ryzhankou added.
