Zelenskyy Says Russian Iskander Missile Launcher Has Been Hit

Ukrainian forces have struck a Russian Iskander missile system launcher. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this, citing a military briefing.

He also confirmed reports of two missile strikes that destroyed two Russian Su-34 fighter jets.

“Another aspect of our missile defence efforts concerns interceptor missiles, primarily for Patriot systems, which our partners can provide. They are needed to protect lives,” the Ukrainian leader stressed.

He said Ukrainian intelligence had information that Russia was preparing new ballistic missile strikes.

“And we need the capabilities to shoot down all this Russian evil. We are waiting for the relevant decisions. I want to thank everyone who is genuinely helping us,” Zelenskyy said.
