Yuliya Mitskevich Appointed OCP Representative for Social Policy

Yuliya Mitskevich has been appointed acting representative of the United Transitional Cabinet for social policy. She replaced Volha Zazulinskaya in the post, who now heads the Democratic Mission of Belarus in Ukraine.

Mitskevich outlined the main areas of her work: health care, assistance to Belarusian volunteers and their families in Ukraine, the release of political prisoners, migration and gender equality.

Yuliya Mitskevich highlighted two projects the team is working on: “Rayonka,” an online clinic where medical professionals who have left Belarus will provide consultations to patients in Belarus. The second project is research and development of a concept for health care reform jointly with the Solidarity trade union, reports the OCP.
