World’s Largest Arms Companies Increase Revenue by 5.9%

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) has published a report on the revenues of the world’s largest arms companies. The top 100 producers and sellers of weapons earned 679 billion dollars in 2024, an increase of 5.9% compared with 2023. No Belarusian companies are included in the ranking.

The top three positions in the SIPRI ranking are held by U.S. companies:

  • Lockheed Martin increased its arms-related revenue by 3.2% to 64.65 billion dollars,
  • RTX — by 4.1% to 43.6 billion dollars,
  • Northrop Grumman — by 3.3% to 37.85 billion dollars.

Overall, the revenues of U.S. companies included in the ranking grew by 3.8% to 334 billion dollars.

Russia’s Rostec also entered the top ten, with its arms-related revenue assessed at 27.12 billion dollars, an increase of 26.4% compared with 2023. The United Shipbuilding Corporation was also included in the ranking with revenue of 4.11 billion dollars (+6.5%).
