Woman From Pinsk District Accused of Recruiting Girls for Prostitution in Dubai

A 27-year-old resident of the Pinsk District has been charged under two criminal articles for recruiting girls to engage in prostitution in Dubai.

According to investigators, in September 2023 the woman saw an advertisement on Instagram promising quick earnings. By following the link, she learned that the job involved providing intimate services in Dubai. She agreed and for several years “earned money,” keeping half of the payment for each client and transferring the other half to the “employer,” the Investigative Committee reported.

After several years, she stopped providing intimate services herself and decided to take on an organizational role. She found clients for the girls, controlled their schedules and handled organizational issues. In this way, she supervised the activities of four Belarusian nationals.

The accused was detained at the airport while accompanying another girl departing for Dubai.

At first, she admitted guilt, but later claimed that she had not recruited the girls and had merely accompanied them. However, correspondence in messengers, photographs and phone connection records confirmed her criminal activity.

She has been charged under:

  • Part 1 of Article 171-1 (involving a person in prostitution);
  • Part 2 of Article 171 (organizing and facilitating prostitution by another person, combined with taking a person abroad for the purpose of prostitution).

The accused is being held in custody.
