Unknown Individuals Using “Security Council” Name Ask Schools to Organize Military-Patriotic Events

Emails have begun arriving at educational institutions claiming to be from the Security Council of Belarus and demanding that they organize military-patriotic events for students and submit reports with photos and videos.

According to the Telegram channel “Narodny Antifake,” unknown individuals may be attempting to obtain access to information about students and collect their photographs and video recordings.

Teachers are advised not to respond to such emails or send the requested reports, personal data, photographs or videos. They are also advised to verify the authenticity of such messages and carefully check the sender’s address. They are asked to inform colleagues if they receive suspicious emails.
