UN Security Council Meeting on Attack on Bus in Russia’s Bryansk Region Scheduled for June 29

The UN Security Council meeting on the strike against a bus carrying Belarusian citizens in Russia’s Bryansk region will take place on June 29 at 3:00 p.m. New York time (10:00 p.m. Minsk time). This was confirmed by Russia’s Acting Permanent Representative to the United Nations Anna Yevstigneeva, TASS reported.

A bus carrying Belarusian children travelling to the Russian resort city of Gelendzhik for a holiday was attacked, reportedly by a drone, in Russia’s Bryansk region on June 17. A woman accompanying the group was killed, while eight people, including six children, were injured. Moscow says the bus was struck by a Ukrainian drone. Kyiv rejects the accusation and describes the incident as an information provocation.
