Ukraine’s military intelligence special forces used sea drones to deliver unmanned aerial vehicles for strikes on ground targets. The operation was carried out by the Group 13 unit in Crimea.
“During the operation, which took place in late July 2026, HUR special forces deployed the latest Magura maritime platforms, including FPV drone carriers, enabling successful strikes against ground targets belonging to the Russian occupation forces in Crimea,” Ukraine’s military intelligence said.
As a result, a command vehicle belonging to a Podlyot radar system was destroyed. An identification friend-or-foe (IFF) system (Parol-4 radar interrogator) was also struck.
