Twelve people were rescued by emergency workers during a fire at a dormitory in Pastavy. Information about the blaze at a dormitory on Hajdara Street was received by rescuers from eyewitnesses today at 12:04.
Smoke was coming from the windows of the second and third floors. Twelve people, including four children, were rescued from the second and third floors.
One person was hospitalized after being examined by an ambulance crew. The cause and circumstances of the incident are being established. Four units of equipment were deployed at the scene, the press service of the Ministry for Emergency Situations reported.
