Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya discussed security issues with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Yerevan.
“In turbulent times, leadership means bringing countries together, strengthening unity, and focusing on what matters most. A secure Europe must include a free Belarus that contributes to stability and peace,” she wrote on X about her meeting with Rutte.
During talks with Ukraine’s foreign minister, potential threats and risks from the Lukashenka regime were discussed.
“We discussed threats from the Lukashenka regime, including military build-up, which create new risks to the security of Ukraine and Europe.
We must continue to put pressure on the regime and prevent Belarus from turning into a military outpost,” Tsikhanouskaya said.
