Belarusian customs officers have uncovered a large shipment of undeclared Chinese-made goods in a truck operated by a Kazakh carrier. The vehicle was intercepted by оперативная customs officers.
“Customs officers stopped the truck during special operations. An inspection revealed that information on 90,000 units of cosmetic sets, storage boxes, flashlights, watches, lamps, bags, endoscopes and other goods was not declared in the accompanying documents”, the State Customs Committee said.
The value of the undeclared goods exceeded 1.8 million rubles. As a result, customs payments amounting to 583,000 rubles could have been avoided.
Administrative proceedings have been initiated.
