Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya has congratulated Artsiom Brukhan on his election as speaker of the fourth convocation of the Coordination Council, calling it “a high level of trust from the delegates and recognition” of his previous work. She wished him “wisdom, resilience and productive work for the benefit of Belarus and Belarusians.”
The leader of the democratic forces also congratulated all elected members of the new Coordination Council on the start of their work.
“You face an important task — ensuring that the Council remains a representative institution trusted by Belarusians, one that defends their interests and helps preserve the unity of the democratic forces. I look forward to close cooperation with the new composition of the Coordination Council as we move toward our common goal — a free, democratic and European Belarus,” she said.
