Tax Authorities Find Illegal Taxi Dispatcher in Cherven District

The tax inspectorate uncovered an illegal taxi dispatcher operating in Cherven District. According to the press service of the Ministry for Taxes and Duties, an individual entrepreneur without state registration accepted orders through a short telephone number and passed them on to taxi drivers. For these services, the entrepreneur charged 10% of the order value.

The entrepreneur was held administratively liable. A fine was imposed and the illegally obtained income was confiscated.

Overall, since the beginning of the year, tax authorities have carried out more than 80 successful operational inspections in the passenger transport sector, during which two vehicles were seized.

Tax liabilities totalling 51.8 million Belarusian rubles were imposed on 30 business entities.

For various violations, those found responsible received fines amounting to more than 10 million Belarusian rubles in total.

Among the most common violations, the ministry listed:

  • lack of cash register equipment,
  • violations of legally established procedures for accepting payments (cash payments) when providing services,
  • non-payment of taxes and duties.
