Sri Lanka will make visas free of charge for Belarusians starting from 25 May. This was announced by Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhankou after talks with Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath.
“I would like to thank my colleague for making the decision to provide visas free of charge to Belarusian citizens arriving in Sri Lanka”, BelTA quotes Ryzhankou as saying.
The minister added that the free visas would apply to Belarusian tourists and business representatives.
According to Ryzhankou, the official visit of Sri Lanka’s foreign minister demonstrates readiness to develop and strengthen relations and bring them to a new level.
