An emergency disruption to the water supply has occurred in Zhlobin.
“A technical failure has occurred in the water supply system at the Liebiadzyouka water intake facility. Water supply to the city has been temporarily suspended,” the Zhlobin District Executive Committee said early this morning.
Two drinking water distribution points have been set up.
The district authorities have also established an Emergency Situations Commission.
“Due to the technical failure at the Liebiadzyouka water intake facility and the temporary suspension of water supply in several districts of the city, an Emergency Situations Commission has been established,” the executive committee added.
According to Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee Siarhei Andrusiou, social care facilities providing round-the-clock accommodation have been supplied with water. Water deliveries are being carried out continuously.
