Security measures have been strengthened in the border areas of the Homiel Region, with additional police units deployed there, Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakou said.
“All Belarusian police units, including special units, will operate under an enhanced security regime. This heightened level of service will apply not only at venues hosting mass events on July 3, but throughout the country.
Security has been particularly reinforced in the border areas of the Homiel Region. Additional police units have been deployed there to ensure the safety of our citizens. Therefore, I would like to reassure everyone once again: there is no need to worry,” Kubrakou was quoted as saying by BelTA.
