Around 50 employees of the architectural studio ZROBIM architects have been detained in Minsk, Zerkalo writes, citing sources. According to the outlet, security forces arrived at the Minsk office of the well-known architectural studio ZROBIM architects on the morning of April 9.
At around 11 a.m., all employees present at their workplaces – about 50 people – were detained. According to the publication, those detained included company founder Andrey Makouski. The reasons for the security forces’ interest in the studio remain unknown.
According to sources, the company’s work server also became unavailable at the same time, including for employees working remotely.
ZROBIM architects is a Belarusian architectural studio founded in 2011 by Andrey Makouski and Aliaksey Karabliou. The company operates both in Belarus and abroad and regularly receives international awards. Last year, its school project in the Novaya Baravaya district of Minsk won the IIDA Global Excellence Award 2025 in the Education category.
