Savushkin Produkt acquired the Polatsk Dairy Plant following a tender held at the Vitsyebsk Regional Marketing Center on Aug. 31.
Savushkin Produkt was the only bidder, so the final price differed little from the starting price. The property complex of the Polatsk enterprise was purchased for 32.593 million Belarusian rubles.
The buyer also undertook to maintain the facility’s designated use as a food-processing enterprise for at least five years, create at least 400 new jobs in the region, and attract at least 50 million Belarusian rubles in investment within five years of the tender.
A production site in Vitsyebsk is expected to be put up for auction at a later date.
