Russia Launches More Than 500 Missiles and Drones at Ukraine, Dnipro and Odesa Hit

Russia launched 546 missiles and drones at Ukraine overnight. The main target of the attack was Dnipro and the surrounding region. Odesa, as well as the Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia regions, also came under attack, the Ukrainian Air Force said.

Russian forces used 14 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, eight Iskander-K cruise missiles and 524 drones of various types.

Ukrainian air defenses said they neutralized 507 targets, including 503 drones and four cruise missiles.

Authorities recorded impacts from 18 missiles and 16 drones across 34 locations, as well as falling debris at 11 sites.

In Dnipro and the surrounding region, 26 people were injured, including two children, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service. Fires broke out in residential buildings and an educational institution in Dnipro. Apartment buildings, a religious institution and businesses were damaged. Infrastructure facilities and enterprises were also damaged in Kryvyi Rih and districts of the region.

In the Chernihiv region, two people were injured and hospitalized. Residential buildings, cars and other facilities were damaged.

Residential neighborhoods in Odesa also came under attack, with casualties reported, including an 11-year-old child.
